Frequently Asked Questions
Many clients are curious about the hypnosis experience and here are a few more common questions I hear from them.
Almost anyone of normal intelligence can be hypnotized if they are willing and able to concentrate and follow instructions. Some drugs that affect brain functions may affect your ability to be hypnotized.
Because hypnosis is a rapid protocol compared to other methods like talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), clients will generally see significant improvement in three to five sessions, usually spaced about a week apart.
Our conscious minds can be very reluctant to change, but the subconscious mind is very receptive to implementing positive changes. Hypnosis can bypass the conscious mind and allow communication directly with the subconscious mind.
They are purely fictional. Hypnosis is 100% safe and is a relaxing experience. You can’t get stuck in hypnosis and you can’t be made to do something you wouldn’t want to do. The only dramatic thing about real hypnosis is the positive results that are possible!
